The Village Pot includes four chops (artist's signature): two on the lid, one at the bottom of the handle, and one on the bottom of the teapot. It is a charcoal color and is rather cylindrical, rounded at the shoulder. The handle resembles branches, with one piece of the handle reflecting the shape of the spout. The spout, like the handle, is a separate piece joined to the body of the teapot by the artist and bends upward. The finial is bow shaped with two cute red clay beads on either side. This is another fine teapot for the person who prefers a piece that is different and yet casual. Please note cups pictured can be ordered under Tea Sets.
